Van Dijk invites Liverpool fans to raise Anfield atmosphere for title title
Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk invited the club fans to create a scary atmosphere at Anfield as the team pushed toward the glory of the Premier League.
The key victory of 2-0 over the ruling Manchester City champions in Etihad on Sunday, the kindness of Mohamed Salah’s goals and Dominic Szoboszlai, prompted 11 Liverpool points to the summit.
While second -placed Arsenal still has a game in his hand, Giants Merseyside are now solid favorites to return the title.
One key advantage in favor of Liverpool is their remaining fixture list – seven of their last 11 league matches will be played at Anfield, a place known for their electric atmosphere.
Van Dijk invited the club fans to use that energy and turn their home stadium into a terrifying perspective for guest teams.
Speaking after victory over the city, Van Dijk said, “I mentioned that after that [Wolves] game, it’s obviously pretty normal to be [nervous] That’s right, “he said.
“It’s a man [reaction] In order to be anxious feelings that hit, which could still be the case.

“But I think it just helps us and them [the supporters] as well as how Anfield would be awful to the opponent. Most of the time we do this, and obviously, the way we play helps to do so.
“How many domestic games are left? Seven of 11. So, let’s make sure seven of them be amazing, the louder it is. I don’t think we have to talk about it because it’s normal.
“Well, let’s go, enjoy, focus on Wednesday now, and then we’ll see what’s going on after that.”
The triumph against City was particularly significant because he marked Liverpool’s first victory in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium in ten years.
On Wednesday night, the result limited a challenging part of four games in just 15 days, and the Reds now housed Newcastle on Anfield.
“This was a big win,” he said. “I told the boys,” Don’t take these victories for granted, but when you go home, recover and be ready to prepare for Newcastle. “
“That’s the only thing we have to do. The Vid tunnel. Nothing else matters. And we need our fans to be in great shape on Wednesday.”
Van Dijk was a rock in the heart of Liverpool’s defense this season, playing every minute of its Premier League campaign.
His leadership was crucial, especially given the concerns about injuries to his defense partners, including Ibrahim Konate, Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah.
However, uncertainty lingers over the future Van Dijka on Anfield, since his current contract will expire at the end of the season.
Nevertheless, his dedication on the field was unwavering while Liverpool continued the search for local glory.
