The USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier was on Wednesday in a collision with a merchant ship near Port, he said, Egypt, in the Mediterranean Sea, the Navy reported.
“The collision did not endanger Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) because there are no flood reports or injuries,” he added in the statement.
