Trump signs the command ban on transgender women from women’s sports

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that prevents a transgender woman from competing in the women’s sports categories.

The command gives guidelines, regulations and legal interpretations, and he will enroll in the education department to investigate secondary schools that are considered not in accordance with.

Republicans say that it restores righteousness to the sport, but the organizations for advocating LGBT for human rights have described the move as discriminatory.

The command, which enters into force, largely encompasses high school, universities and wide sports.

Numerous sports management bodies, including swimming, athletics and golf, have banned transgender women to compete in the women’s category at an elite level if they have gone through male puberty.

According to the White House officials who met journalists on Wednesday morning, this last order empowers the Ministry of Education to investigate how schools implement the title IX, an American law for prohibiting sex discrimination in the Federal Education Programs.

The administration official said the executive command would cancel the position of the Administration of Biden, who said in April last year that LGBT students would be protected by federal law, although he did not give special guidelines on transgender athletes.

“If you allow men to take over women’s sports teams or attack your locker room, you will be explored for breach of IX titles and risk federal funding,” Trump explained.

In addition, the White House plans to bring in sports bodies – such as the national collegial athletic association or NCAA – to come to the White House to meet athletes and their parents to discuss concerns.

A clerk who talked about the order said he would now do whatever possible to prevent transgender athletes competing against women at the competitions of the International Olympic Committee on American soil.

President Trump has determined that the order will include the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

He said he would deny visas for transgender Olympic athletes trying to visit the US to compete on LA games.

On the eve of signing the executive command, Trump stated that “war was a woman’s sport”, saying that during La game, “my administration will not stand and watch men be beat and hit by athletes.”

He said he would direct the secretary for the Homeland Security “to negate any and all applications for the visa submitted by men trying to fake falsely enter the United States, at the same time identifying themselves as athletes …”

IOC approached the comment.

White home officials have described politics as widely popular with Americans, and is crucial for “honesty” for women in sports, as well as security.

In a statement, Kelley Robinson’s Human Rights Campaign said that the command “exposes young people to disturb and discriminate, empowering people to question the gender of children who do not correspond to the narrow view of how they should dress or look.”

“For so many students, sports are found somewhere,” Ms. Robinson added. “They are not partisan policies that make life difficult for them.”

Less than 1% of the population over 13 years of age in the United States is a transgender person, according to the UCLA Williams Institute, and the number of sports is smaller.

On Trump’s first day on duty on January 20, he signed a separate order by urging the federal government to officially define gender as male or female.
