Trump says he ordered air attacks on the Islamic State in Somalia
Donald Trump says he ordered military air attacks on the higher Islamic State (IS) Planner of the attack and others from the organization in Somalia.
“These killers, for whom we found hiding in the caves, threatened the United States and our allies,” Trump posted on social networks.
“The strikes destroyed the caves in which they live and killed many terrorists, and in any way they apply to civilians to civilians.”
Trump did not appoint any of the people targeted on strikes.

In a statement, Defense Minister Pete Hegsetth said “our initial assessment was that more operatives were killed in air attacks and that civilians were not destroyed.”
The strikes “further degrade” is the ability to “set and conduct terrorist attacks” and “sends a clear signal that the United States is always ready to find and eliminate terrorists,” he added.
In 2010, especially in Syria and Iraq, it has increased in international prominentness, but now its presence is generally limited to parts of Africa.
