President Donald Trump He has appointed a state official of Virginia to keep the drug implementation (DEA) administration in his new administration.
In the social place of truth on Tuesday, Trump wrote that he nominated Terry Cole to become the next Dea administrator. Cole is currently a public security and homeland security secretary for Community of Virginia.
According to the Virginia Government website, Cole was previously the head of the staff and executive director of the Special Operations Department of the Ministry of Justice for Justice of Dea, and was also as a representative of the Dea Council for National Security. The website also notes that Cole worked for Dea for 22 years, although Trump wrote that he was employed by Dea for 21 years.
In the post on social media, Trump said he was “pleased” to announce Cole, which the US Senate would need to confirm as his candidate.

“Terry is a DEA veteran of 21 years, with tours in Colombia, Afghanistan and Mexico City, currently performing the post of public security and Homeland Security Secrets, leading 11 State Public Security Agencies, with more than 19,000 employees,” Trump’s Post Read.
Trump also added that Cole graduated from the Rochester Technology Institute, as well as certificates from the University of Virginia and the University of Notre Dame.

Trump originally called Florida Sheriff Chad Chronister As his first choice led by the Dea, but Chronister, which serves as the Hillsborough district sheriff, later withdrew his name from consideration in December.
“That the elected President @realdonalddraldtrump has appointed him as an administrator of drug implementation administration is an honor all his life,” Chronister wrote at the time in the post on X.
“Over the past few days, as the weight of this very important responsibility has been set up, I have concluded that I have to withdraw with respect for the consideration. I need to do more work for the citizens of the Hillsborough district and many initiatives that I am obliged to fulfill.”
