The slot insists that Liverpool has a ‘all ingredients’ to achieve success this season despite Villa Stalemate

Arne Slot says his Liverpool side has “all the ingredients” to be successful this season, although she missed the opportunity to become 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table after Aston Villa 2-2.

In a mesmerizing match at Villa Park, Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool early lead before the goals of the Youra Tielemans and Ollie Watkins before the interruption turned to the tie on his head.

Trent Alexander-Arnold straightened things shortly after an hour, while Tim Arne Slot had to be placed in a point.

The result leaves Reds eight points clean of runner -up arsenal, which now has a game in his hand.

But Liverpool chief believes his team can still achieve success in this term.

“It is important where we are in the league table. There is always pressure when you play for Liverpool,” Slot told TNT Sports after the game.

“We want to achieve something this season and we have all the ingredients for that.

“There are still 12 games and Champions League matches, but we are happy where we are.”

Slot, however, admitted that he remained frustrated several times when, he believes, the result did not reflect the performance.

The Dutchman also appeared that he had singled out striker Darwin Nunez, who missed the glorious opportunity to put Liverpool forward after entering the second half against Unai Emery’s side.

“There were a little too much where we played games in which we deserved more than we got,” Slow said.

“I watch a game in Newcastle [in December] Where we have admitted some other games at the last minute, including today, where, in my opinion, if there is one team that deserved to win, it was us.

“I think we had a few very good moments, and even scored the first goal from a good emergency. But we took her the way the game went. They [Villa] You could go back to the last minute, but if you look at the chances we had in the second half to go in the front, you can understand that there is one person in the locker room who feels quite down.

“And you know who I mean.”

Next for Liverpool is a trip to the Kingdom on Sunday in the Premier League, Manchester City, Sunday. Villa, meanwhile, hosted Chelsea on Saturday.
