Tens of thousands of people packed to the Beirut stadium to attend Funeral of former Hezbollah leaderAlmost five months after being killed in an Israeli air attack on the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital.

They are bereaved dressed in black, some mahala flags of Hezbollah or carrying portraits of Nasrallah, landed on a mass funeral, delayed for security problems. Many men, women and children from Lebanon and wider walked on foot in the cold to reach the site of the ceremony.

The older official Hezbollah Ali Damoush told reporters about 800 figures from 65 countries attended a funeral, except for thousands of individuals and activists from around the world.
Nasrallah will be laid to rest later on Sunday in Beirut, while Safieddine will be set up to rest in his hometown in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah set giant screens along the airport road and outside the stadium for people who would not get space inside to watch the funeral. Solid security measures include closing the main roads in the funeral area and stopping flights to the airport and from Beirut for four hours. The Lebanese army and police are on standby, and the use of drones in Beirut and its suburbs is banned during the day.
A few hours before the funeral began, the Israeli army launched a number of attacks in South Lebanon.
