The new report by Human Rights Watch says that the SAF groups have committed acts that may be of war crimes.
Armed groups struggling with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have been intentionally targeting civilians, says the international non -governmental organization of human rights.
In a report published on Tuesday, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said the forces aligned with the Military Government attacked the villagers in the central part Sudan And they committed acts that could give war crimes and called the investigation.

In the report, HRW said the groups were aligned with SAF, including the Sudanese Shield forces, Al-Baraa Batalion Ibn Malik and local militia, can also commit war crimes.
“Armed groups that fought along with the Sudanese armed forces committed violent abuse against civilians in their latest offensive in the gazi state,” said Jean-Baptiste Gallopin, a senior crisis, conflict and weapon researcher in HRW.
The HRW report documented that in the 10th January, Sudan Shield was attacked by the village of Tayba, in the country, killing at least 26 people, including a child, and injuring others.
Witnesses said armed fighters who spoke of their boss as Abu Aqla Keikel, the leader of the Sudan Shield forces, were indisputably fired at the inhabitants and crossed the house for men and boys to execute. It was also reported that they had robbed the village and set fire to the buildings.
The survivors’ accounts are substantiated by satellite paintings, photos and videos confirmed by HRW, who said the incident is one of several attacks on the communities that are considered to be supporters of the RSF region after returning them from a paramilitary group last month.
SAF condemned the abuse and committed to consider the perpetrators responsible. However, it insisted that the actions were “individual transgressions”.
Taybe residents said that government investigators had visited the place and interviewed key witnesses, adding that the common forces of armed movements, the coalition aligned with SAF, were arranged forces to protect the population.
However, HRW noted that the SAF Generals, including General Yasir Al-Atta, who was sitting in Sudan’s ruling sovereign council, publicly appeared with Keikel of January 10 and praised his contribution to war efforts.
Gallopin said the Sudanese authorities should urgently investigate all reported abuse and retain those responsible, including the commanders of the Sudanese Shield forces.
