Star “Life Facts” John Lawlor Dead in 83


Star “The Fact of Life” John Lawlor has died, Fox News Digital confirmed. The television star was 83 years old.

Lawlor “died peacefully on February 13, 2025. At a veteran Albuquerque veteran with his daughter Riel,” Website on necrolicaici Read, according to his agent.

His Fox News Digital agent said the TV sitcom star “stepped down from acting a few years ago.”

Lawlor was “a veteran of the US army with a service in Vietnam,” according to his obituary.

Lawlor started his 60-year acting career after graduating from the University of Colorado. He is known for his roles in “Phyllis” and “Mary Tyler Moore Show”.

Lawlor’s most famous role was Director Steven Bradley at Eastland School for girls in “The facts of life.” Sitcom was also played by George Clooney, Lisa Whelchel, Nancy McKeon and Mindy Cohn.

Lawlor was born in three in New York in 1941 and was the oldest of six children. He was survived by five children, two brothers, three grandchildren, nephew and two nephews.
