Jenni Hermoso at the trial of former football football chief Luis Rubiales that the kiss was ‘stain’ her victory in the 2023 World Cup.
Spanish star Jenni Hermoso told the trial with the embarrassed ex -head of Luis Rubiales that the forced kiss he gave her in 2023. “It should not happen in any social or work environment.”
Prosecutors are looking for two and a half years in prison for Rubial for sexual assault and coercion after his kiss on Hermoso after the World Cup finals at the woman 2023. He caused global anger.

“I felt that it was completely out of place and then I realized that the boss loved me, and that should not happen in any social or work environment,” Hermoso said in court on the day of opening the trial on Monday.
“The kiss on the lips is only given when I decide that,” she added.
The scandal that roamed Spanish football and destroyed the career of Rubiales a few moments after Hermoso and her teammates won the World Cup fame, beating England in the Sydney final.
While Hermoso joined his teammates in collecting medals of their winners, Rubiales tightened his head and kissed her into his lips before letting her go with two slaps on his back.
The law liberated public action on what critics consider the abuse of power and made a hermos icon to fight Macho culture and sexism in sports.
The recent reform of the Spanish Criminal Code classifies the non -consensual kiss as sexual abuse.
“As a woman, I felt unfair. It was a moment that stained one of the happiest days of my life,” Hermoso said at the trial.
“It is very important for me to say that at no point I was looking for that act, let alone expect.”
The trial of the National Court in San Fernando de Henares near Madrid should last until February 19th.
