Flight Southwest Airlines was forced to perform a maneuver in a mountain when arriving at a landing at the Chicago Midway International Airport, when a private jet started with a taxi across from the aircraft on a runway on Tuesday morning.
The video from the airport shows the southwestern aircraft that almost touched the runway when he suddenly retreats back to fly over smaller Flexjet aircraft that entered the runway.
The southwestern flight 2504 of Omaha, Nebraska, must have landed, performing a maneuver of precaution to avoid a “possible conflict” with another aircraft that entered the runway, Southwest said in a Fox News statement.
“The crew followed safety procedures, and the flight landed without an incident,” a spokesman for the southwest told Fox News in a statement. “Nothing is more important for the southwest than our customers and employees.”
