The airline said that the passengers on the runway were exhausted by a combination of slide and stairs and were transferred to the terminal.
The Houston Fire Department also responded to the incident as part of the safety protocol and aids to passengers. They did not extinguish the fire and said it was already outside when the units arrived at the scene.

Officials said there were no injuries and that all passengers were moved to another plane to continue to their destination.
