Ruud Van Nisklroooy says he knows the Manchester United team “Inside Out” and that he can focus instead of being ready for their players to travel to Old Trafford in the fourth circle of Fa Cup.
The Dutchman was part of Erik Ten Hag’s coaching staff in United and assumed the duty of the caregiver chief when the Red Devils split with the former Fa Cup and Carabao Cup winner after the timid start of the 2024/25 season.
It is ironic that two out of Non -Jise’s match were against his current employers Leicester. First resulted in a 5-2 Carabao Cup Fourth Circlewith the latter a Comfortable win 3-0 In the Premier League.
After abandoning United after the naming of Ruben amomes, Van Nistelroooy succeeded Steve Cooper in Leicesterwhere he did not find so easily. From 12 games played, foxes beat only three times and lost eight – a period of form that includes seven consecutive Premier league defeats.

“I’m glad I don’t have to analyze Manchester United Detachment, I’ll leave it to Ruben [Amorim]”He said.” We prepared for them and I know the team from the inside.
“It’s especially to go back there. I have history as a player, as an assistant, as a guardian. My focus is on my players and teams, to get the best of them and show what I do, in the fight and in the spirit.”
Van Nisklroooy also dealt with the generally bad form of Leicester: “We have our own problems. We have to look at us. I don’t believe in sequences. You can always win the game after you lose a couple. We want to represent ourselves in the best way possible.
“It’s always welcome [an FA Cup game]. We have enough time to recover and prepare the game. We will do our best to be in order. This is never a distraction. Being in this competition is a privilege. It’s a dream that every player playing there in Manchester United there. “
In the meantime, Amorim spoke about his decision to make a coaching staff he believed in which he had worked before, instead of holding out and using his experience and knowledge of United.
“It was not a difficult situation, because I was very clear about it, I just had to explain it,” said the former CP sports boss. “He is a football man and understands this situation. I have my team and a coaching staff. I prefer to work with a team that brought me here. I could keep RUUD because it was something good for me or something popular, but I won’t put Ruud in front of my boys , no matter what’s going on.
“To show respect for Ruud, I was very clear with him. I explained to him that I had my own team and that I would continue this way and that I would not put a guy like Ruud, a legend about this club, at the bottom of the coaching hierarchy.”
