On Sunday, Mayor of Rio Eduardo Paes excluded the cancellation of the carnival festivities that are intensified over the coming weeks, but recommended that the revelars take precautions.
“We expect the warmest summer in recent years,” Health Minister Daniel Soranz said on Monday.
