Richard Gere and his family have New life in Spain.
Last year, “Beautiful Woman” Actor, his wife Alejandra Silva and their children moved to their home country, and Gere says they were never happier.
“The truth is to see us in our swing,” said the 75-year-old Elle España their move. “We are happier than ever. She, because she’s home, and I because if she’s happy, I’m happy.”
Silva (41) calls her and the husband of “soulmate”.

“The truth is that you see us in our momentum. We are happier than ever. She, because she is at home and I because if she is happy, I am happy.”
The couple met 11 years ago when both went through divorce.
“We are like soul mates,” Silva Elle España said. “We have the same values, we see the world the same way and from the first moment we felt we had known each other for a long time.”
They are currently working on the Sierra A project, Mari, environmental initiatives and sustainability along the coast of the Mexican state of Jalisco.
“When you provide options to the community, they are rediscovered. They transform and progress,” Silva said of the project.

Gere added: “Our purpose is to take care of the environment, from mountains to sea, to renew the ecosystem and oceans. True sustainability is not only measured in the environment, in what surrounds us, but in the lives of the people who settle it.”

Silva said that they were both activists in the heart.
“One of the things that unite us most and why we fell in love deeply was our activist heart,” she said. “Being an activist leads you to bring in your values to the world to improve it. It is about giving voice to people who do not have and raise consciousness. It has a very deep meaning, and we have to appreciate where to put our energy, no matter how little it is.”
The two are also involved in charity work closer to home in Spain, which Silva noted that one of the reasons they moved to Madrid, “to be part of the NGO Committee of Hogar Sí.”

“We want to help this country end homelessness. Our goal is that no one is sleeping on the street within five years,” she explained.

Gere first spoke about their immediate move to Spain last spring.
“For me, going to Madrid will be a great adventure because I have never lived full time outside the United States,” said the 75-year-old Vanity Fair Spain. “And I think it will be very interesting for my children as well. For Alejandra it will be wonderful to be closer to her family, lifelong friends and her culture. She was very generous in living me in my world for six years, so I think that her Fer I give at least six others who live in her.

“New York goes into the blood. It’s very difficult to remove it. It infects your DNA. But I love Spain too. I love Madrid. And it’s time for my wife to be around my family and friends and culture,” he said. “And good for our children. I think it’s great to live – not only to visit – but to live in another culture.”
Gere said Jimmy Fallon In November, he thought his children would “flourish” in the country.
“My children are bilingual, so they will bloom there,” he said to The Tonight Show.
He said he would spend gratitude in Spain, and later that month, Silva shared a photo on Instagram of her sons of Alexander, 5, and James, 4, decorating her Christmas tree, with an inscription, “This year, Christmas in Spain!”
“My wife, she grew up in a very large Spanish family,” Gere told Fallon. “And her grandmother was a kind of adhesive that kept it all together. And Grandma passed away. It was about a year and a half ago, two years ago. So, my wife, I can see how to enter a new grandmother from this extended family.
