Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) announced their new captain for the upcoming Indian Premier League season (IPL). The middle line of Rajat Patidar will be the new team captain and will replace Faf du Plexis in the role.
Rajat Patidar was among the candidates for the role of RCB captain, along with the virate of Kohlija, Pandya Crown, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Phil Salt. However, the team administration has decided to show faith in Patidar after her impressive franchise appearances over the years.
