In response, NCAA has changed its trans-aglusion policy to fully banish transgender athletes from female sports. The turban wrote a letter to the President of NCAA Charlie Baker, announcing the resignation from the NCAA Committee on Competitive Protective Measures and Medical Aspects of Sports (CSMA).
“Unfortunately, your recent decision to issue a prohibition of a transmission participation in women’s sports are not aligned with a medical or scientific consensus,” Turban’s letter writes. “I cannot participate in this type of politicization of science and medicine at the expense of some of our most vulnerable student athletes.
“I am immensely grateful for my time with CSMA and I was impressed with the academic and medical strictness that the Committee brings to ensuring a competitive honesty and safety of student athletes.

“However, it is clear that your decision was based on politics, not science, because he did not advise membership in CSMA before the decision.”
Ncaa announced the change The day after Trump signed an executive command.
“The NCAA is an organization made up of 1,100 colleges and universities in all 50 countries collectively enrolling in more than 530,000 student athletes,” Baker said in a statement. “We firmly believe that the clear, consistent and uniform standards of fulfillment of the conditions best served today’s students, instead of a patch of conflicting state laws and court decisions. In this goal, the command of President Trump provides a clear, national standard.
“Updated policy in combination with these resources follows in the constitutional commitment of the NCAA to provide intercolegic athletic competition and protection, support and improve the mental and physical health of students-athletes,” Baker said. “This national standard brings over the necessary clarity as we modernize sports sports for today’s student athletes.”
