Chelsea picked up a 4-0 moral victory against Southampton on Tuesday night on Tuesday night.
After protests before the match against the ownership of Chelsea, the tensions were high inside Stamford Bridge, and frustrated fans gave their stress levels when the blues took their time trying to play from the back.
With 24 minutes on the hour, Chelsea scored a goal that made their fans desperate. After Aaron Ramsdale greatly rescued to the rejection of Cole Palmer, Christopher Nkunk merged home from the next corner to put the blues forward.
Nkinka is shortly after playing a service provider while playing Pedro Net through goal. Stand-in striker overthrew his effort outside Ramsdale to bring Chelsea an imposing lead, which was extended further while Levi Colwill got up home with a free kick to raise the mood in the interval.
Palmer flashed, and the net failed a bad first touch while Chelsea sought to extend the lead, but they had to wait until the 78th minute to complete Marc Cucurella from Tyrique George.
