A cop and an attacker were killed in Pennsylvania hospital In York County on Saturday morning, according to officials.
The incident happened at the UPMC Memorial Hospital around 10:45
Ted Czech, a public information officer at the York Emergency Management Office, told Fox News Digital that his department answered the call 911 about “active threat” at the hospital.
The identity of the attacker was not published, but the officer who died – Andrew Duarte – identified in a post on West York Borough’s Facebook page.
“Our prayers and the deepest condolences come out to the West York County Okay, the Andrew Duarte family and our entire brothers and sisters at the West York Police Department, who lost their gatherings and friends, and furthermore our colleagues who lost and colleagues,” the post read. “Our community sues the loss of heroes.”

No patient was injured in the incident, Susan Manko Hospital spokeswoman confirmed.
“We have received confirmed reports of an attacker on the UPMC memorial and the shootings have been fired,” the Fox News manko told.
“The puchker was arrested and no patients were injured. The hospital is now safe,” Manko said. “This is a fluid situation; enforcement of the law is on the premises and manages the situation. We are grateful to all local the implementation of the law agencies for their quick response. “
On Saturday morning, Government Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro He said he was aware of the incident and that he was on his way to the hospital.
“I met on a tragic shooting at the UPMC Memorial Hospital in York County and on my way to the scene,” Shapiro wrote on X.
