PCB faces the restlessness while Sindh accuses the Discrimination Committee, threatens a strong action
The Pakistani Cricket (PCB) board is currently preparing for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will host Pakistan and Dubai. The Committee is under pressure due to the delayed preparation of the Marquee Stadium.
However, PCB dealt with another shot just before the champion trophy. Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar, who is Sindh’s provincial minister of sports, accused PCB of discriminating players in his province.

Sindh Sports Minister accuses PCB of discrimination
As he spoke at the opening of the Youth Provincial Conference, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar expressed deep concern about treating Sindh players on the Pakistani cricket team. According to Express News, Mahar considered the cries out of this province they did not get the opportunity in the national team.
He even said that cricket is not just for players from Pakistani northern provinces, Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and has deep roots in Sindhu. It should be noted that Pakistan has four provinces – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.
Mahar believes that Sindh had many talented players who had the opportunity to reach the national team, but did not receive enough chances from the Cricket Committee in the country. As a result, they did not play much despite the huge talent.
Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar further claimed that Sindha players did not get the opportunity to be in the XI toy, even if they were selected in the team. He claimed that these players remained “sitting in excavation while others play.” He expressed concern about such treatment and threatened to form another Cricket Committee if the situation was not repaired.

In the meantime, Pakistan recently announced his team for The Champions Trophy 2025 and became the last team among the participating countries. The department will be led by Mohammad Rizwan, under which the team won the Odor series in Australia and South Africa.
