In many ways of anor, he feels like a fairy tale. In addition to being the title character of the movie – Ani to your friends – a stripper and a occasional sex worker. And her prince is charming the spoiled son of the Russian oligarch.
When she proposed spontaneously, and they get married in Las Vegas, it seems that all her dreams come true. But quickly reveals that a number of people do not hardly approve the match.
For Mikey Madison, it is a dream of a part, where she has to show everything, from strength to gentle fragility.
“From the beginning, I recognized that he was a very complicated character, very tinted,” Mikey Madison agrees.
“I always felt that she was someone who was very vulnerable inside. But he constantly covers him with this hardness or aggression. But I think it’s quite soft inside.

“I have been working for almost a decade, trying to work well. And that was my ultimate dream, go to Cannes. And we had a movie in the main competition, and then we won [the top prize, the Palme D’Or] And that was only crazy in itself. “
She calls “everything that followed” “absolutely wonderful, pleasant surprise.”
“Especially because I think I went into it, feeling really proud of the movie, and as if we did something special for us. And the fact that the movie is also special for other people is wonderful.
“It’s a dream.”
Madison was relatively unknown before the anor. She had small parts in the fifth part of the scream horror and the Quentin Tarans Once Once Ame in Hollywood.
Writer and director Anore Sean Baker has seen her on the screen before and wrote part of Ani especially for her.
“She’s so unique. Not only in her physicality, but she has something about her aura,” Baker says. “She’s something .. She’s actually quite muffled, even in real life. Her behavior is, she’s pretty reserved.
“But then suddenly he can explode as any other person I’ve ever seen, no other actor I’ve ever seen.
“And I was always looking forward to those moments that make the movie, knowing that it would invite the scene. You know, you see you do not discover anything, and then suddenly just a total eruption. It was amazing to watch.”
The opponents in Anna and the moving genres of the film were elements that Madison says she accepted strongly during the film.
“As an actor, sometimes I felt like I was making a very romantic movie, and sometimes it was almost like a horror movie, or drama or comedy about colorful. It was a challenge, and I liked it!”
‘Oscar Talk’
The 25-year-old was nominated as the best actress at every higher prize ceremony, including Golden Globes, Batfas and Oscars. And she is probably the chief rival Demi Moore for Best Actress at academic awards.
Speaking before the Oscar nomination, she said it was amazing to be part of the reward conversation.
“I know I’m incredibly pleased, honoring and humble that our movie is recognized this way. But I just process it.
“It’s irresistible and amazing, and all things,” she says, giving every look that she prevails her praise, her performance gathers.
