Goodell asked about the dedication of the Diversity League at a press conference.
“We got into the efforts for diversity because we felt like it was the right thing for the national football league, and we will continue these efforts because we not only convinced ourselves, we proved that it does NFL better,” Goodell said. “We are not in this because it is a trend to get in or a trend to get out of it.
“Our efforts are fundamental in trying to attract the best possible talent in the national football league and on and out of the field as I said before. We see it. We see how it uses it to the National Football League, so I think we will continue these efforts.”
Goodell said the DEI League efforts were a reflection of the foundation of the league.
“I think this is also obviously a reflection of our fan base and our communities and our players. People talk a lot about the rule Rooney … There is no demand for us to hire a particular individual based on a race or gender. This is simply on the basis of looking at the candidate campus who reflect our communities and look at the type of talent that exists there, and then make the best decision on who is engaged, “he added.

“So much of us, including the national football league in our office, do it voluntarily at all levels, because it used us. And I hear that from the company on a global basis. It is a very strong employment practice we also accept.”
Since Trump Nixing Dei’s efforts in the Government, some companies have returned their own initiatives. Walmart, McDonald’s Amazon, Ford and Lowe are just Some of these companies.
Goodell asked if there would be any astonishment between the league and its corporate sponsors if the companies replied Dei initiatives.
“We do not bring rules for our sponsors or any of the corporations or networks or partners we deal with,” he said. “We have a lot of conversations about the importance of this for us. Obviously we will take into account everything … There are a lot of corporations that have been related to the so -called change of policies of their diversity and have not actually called for it. . ”
Goodell said he had no time to think about his role in NFL devotion to diversity But he believed she had improved the league.
“I am proud of this in this regard – I believe our efforts on diversity have led to improve NFL. It attracted a better talent. We think we are better when we get different perspectives, people of different origins, whether women or men or people in Color – we get stronger and we seem better when we have it, “he said.
