England fought next to Uganda to reach the Netball Nations Cup finals in London after a nervous victory 59-48.

South Africa closely beat England 61-59 when the sides met last week in the competition.
England has been Netball Nations Cup in its sixth finals, but has not won the competition since it started in 2012.
“I was actually pretty calm throughout the game! I believed the girls. Was it sticky in the patch? Of course, but we try to enjoy it. It’s a lot positive and a nice withdrawal at the end,” head coach Jess Thirlby said Sky Sports.
“We’re ready [for the final]. It’s a nice circle back to see if you are learning from last week, we can apply tomorrow and have real faith in the group. “
There were few separation of England and Uganda most of the match, and England was never more than four points before the last quarter.
Uganda continued to pull England back so that the score 42-42 entered the last quarter. Suddenly, England interrupted all unrestrained mistakes and raced, winning seven points in a row to go 50-43 forward and continue to seal a victory with nine other goals.
South Africa closely beat England 61-59 last week in the Round-Robin stage, and will seek revenge on Sunday.
“We will return to the drawing board, look at what South Africa shooters did and adhered to the game plan,” said Halimat Adio, who was a player of the match against Uganda.
