Microsoft breaks down staff Deepmind behind the Ai Podcasting feature

Microsoft’s head of artificial intelligence Mustafa Suleyman has spoiled his former Google Deepmond colleagues who built his popular feature to generate Podcasts, while rival companies are racing to build lucrative applications from top technology.

Suleyman, a British entrepreneur that faced Deepmind in 2010, has engaged Marco Tagliasakchi and Zalán Borsos, two higher scientists behind the “audio review” that is part of the Google AA tool Notebooklm tool. The feature allows users to convert the text into a sound that has a style of attractive conversation.

The couple also worked on AstraDeepmind’s upcoming AI Agent, who can answer questions in a video, sound and text in real time.

Third rent from Deepmind, Matthias Minderer, will focus on the development of vision or ability for Ai models for analysis of paintings. Researchers will join Microsoft’s new AI laboratory in Zurich.

Three men announced their moves on Tuesday. A person familiar with employees said researchers were an integral part of Suleyman’s pressure to build the next generation of co -pilots because Microsoft seeks to create an interactive AI agents which can complete the tasks from flight reservation to calendar management.

“It is a star team and it will be an important center for [Microsoft AI] With our London office, which is also growing quickly! ” Suleyman wrote on Linkedin.

“Ai is still a transformative force, and the sound plays a critical role in shaping more natural, intuitive and immersed interactions,” Tagliasakchi wrote to LinkedIn.

This move comes in the middle of a fierce battle for talent between rival technological groups for the best AI talent.

In 2022, Suleyman left Deepmind to work as an investor in a venture and later created AI start-up inflection.

He joined Microsoft in March 2024 as part of an agreement that brought several members of the U.S. Technology Divate infection. Suleyman hired Google Deepmind’s members Health unitas well as prominent AI researchers from a company like Nando de Freitas. Google has also lost top -notch talent Apple competitor.

Microsoft and Google are among companies that focus on creating agents through “multimodal” AI models, which can analyze and understand the content in audio, videos or pictures.
