Mathys Tel opens why he joined Tottenham despite the initial rejection
The new Tottenham signing of Mathys Tel described his decision to leave Bayern Munich for Ange Postecoglou -‘s side as the “best option” for his career, despite his previous departure to the northern London club.
The 19-year-old French striker made a transition from the Bundesliga giants to Spurs on the day of the transfer, after a sudden heart change.
The agreement shows that he joins the initial loan, with the possibility of buying for a fee that is believed to be around £ 50m. This season, Tel has found the possibilities of limited in Bayern and on only eight matches of the league.
Speaking for the first time as a Spurs player, he said: “I am extremely excited to play with my teammates, for fans. It’s a new challenge for me, a new chapter to open. Very excited about it.

“I think I’m a physical player, fast, technically,” Tel added.
“I play every moment, every game with my heart. I live with that pressure. I always have to push myself to go up and look forward.”
Tel also revealed that his decision to join Spurs was influenced by a colleague of France under 21 Wilson Odobert.
“I talked to Wilson, he told me you had to come here. He is my friend, I played with him in the French team, we are good friends. He told me to come, it’s a great team and you’ll see. It’s very nice.
“Football is a dream for me, playing with the first team, for the best in the world.
“I’m ready for every game. That’s why I’m there. I know what I have to do for Tottenham, for that, for fans, and I hope to do it. “
