A strong earthquake of 6.0 Magnitude hit on Friday in Ethiopia, according to the geological survey of the United States.
Temblor happened at 23:28 Eastern Africa Time about 4 miles northeast of the methachāra in Ethiopia, the agency data show.
While seismologists are reviewing available data, they can revise the reported earthquake size. Additional information collected about earthquakes can also list USGS scientists to update the earthquake map.
