Thirty-five years after the horrors of the dictatorship of Ceaușescu were discovered in Romania, our journalists explored one of the darkest episodes in the history of the land-sunshine, state institutions in which thousands of children were closed and abused. It is estimated that 15,000 children have died, mostly in so -called hospitals for those who are often misgied as difficult to disabled. Although part of the society is nostalgic for the communist age, the work of collective memories and justice is far from complete.
