Left hook power Ryan Garcia: Romero Fight Preparing

Ryan Garcia was practicing at the gym today with his coach Eddy Reynos, showing the speed of his hand and a powerful left hip on a reflex bag. Garcia (24-1, 20 ko) prepares for his still announced fight against Roland ‘Rolly’ Romera in May.
The focus of the left hook
Garcia looks like it weighs in the 160s and does not yet fight the shape. His match against Rolly should be in Welterweight, so there is not much pound to lose to reach until 147. Ryan’s left hook looks strong as always. Rolly (16-2, 13 ko) will have to be much more defensive in this struggle than he showed in his Nokautic loss of Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz last year on March 30, if he doesn’t want to stop.
There were reports that Garcia Vs. Romero be on May 2 in New York, but not officially. If that date is glued, Ryan will deviate from the 13-month downtime from the last fight against Devin Haney on April 20th. Garcia was suspended for a year by the New York State Athletic Athletic Commission for positive pedestal testing.
“Best left in the world. Ryan was at best today. Clearly and collectively, but still dangerous when it comes to boxing. Here it, hitting a fierce reflex bag full of power and speed. Let’s go!” Said Henry Garcia Instagram.
Garcia’s grip against Rolly will prepare him for a rematch with Devin Haney in October. Turks Alalshikh leads this fight. Haney will be on Ryan’s background with a warming fight in May.
Ryan is no longer with coach Derrick James. He replaced it with Reynos, but it is not clear why. He did well with James, but maybe being in Reynos is better because of the training location in southern California. Also, Reynoso trains Canela Alvarez, and it will motivate Ryan to be around the superstar.
