Iraqi activists seek to throw out Iranian influence, normalize ties with Israel

Al-Tamimi also sees positive signs for Iraq and the Middle East after the fall of the longtime dictator Bashar Al-Assad in Syria.

“We believe that the removal of the Assad regime is a very good step to undermine Iranian influence in the region and gives us a irradiated hope for better changes in the region.”
