Inoue – Picasso aimed for June 14 in Vegas
The indisputable Super Bantamweight Naoya ‘Monster’ Inoue and #1 WBC candidate Alan Picasso were targeted for June 14 in Las Vegas. This is the struggle that Inuue’s Opposer, Bob Arum, discussed that it was happening for now
Picasso: undefeated, unverified
Picasso (31-0-1, 17 ko) is undefeated, but he has not struggled with anyone near the level of Inoue (29-0, 26 ko). This match is likely to have a similar outcome as Naya -na’s recent defense of the title against unverified Yeon Kim. Boxing fans want to see inoue as opposed to quality opposition to power and cracking in beating, such as Rafael Espinosis, Murodjon Akhmadaliev and Bruce Carrington.
However Naoya does not seem interested in rocking the boat and destroying the situation that he was going. Why would INoue want to fight dangerous opposition when he has fighters like Picasso and Kim, can easily win to continue bringing the dough?
Arum is likely to count on Mexican Picasso to save fans from southern California and Arizona to see this match. That’s not realistic. He is not known enough to draw, and Inoue has no monitoring in the United States, because he only fought there three times in mismatch.
Time for the right competition
If Inoue will fight in the US, he has to face someone who has a chance to beat him up that the fans will want to watch. It will not be excited to see him fight the inexperienced fighter at the level of fineness, Picasso. They want to see if Inoue is real by throwing it with 6’1 ″ deadline, Rafael Espinosis, to see if he can handle the height of this type.
“#Inouepicasso targets June 14 in Las Vegas,” Salvador Rodriguez said on X About the fight between the undisputed champion Super Bantamweight Naoya Inoue and Alan Picasso.
Picasso, 24, was recently defeated by Yehison Cuello, Diego Alberto Ruiz, Azat Hovhannisyan, Erik Ruiz and Damien Vazquez. Of that, Hovhannisan was most prominent, but he was not young – he was 36 when Picasso fought him.
