Hegsetth declares a ‘new era’ under Trump to visit the southern border in Texas
Defense Minister Pete Hegsetth visited Monday South limitproclaiming the “new era of determination” while Trump’s administration doubles in its efforts to secure the border and stop illegal immigration.
“Because of President Donald Trump, this is a new age at the South Border, a new age of determination, a new age of cooperation. And in the Ministry of Defense we are proud to be a part of it,” Hegseth told reporters at the El Pas Pasus press conference after it is after it is Hegsetth toured the border.
Hegsetth emphasized that the administration, instead of focusing on foreign territory, wanted to focus first on American sovereignty.
“The guys and guys of my generation have spent decades in foreign countries, keeping the boundaries of other people. It’s time to secure our own limit,” he said.
Trump scheduled the US army on the border on the first day in power 1,500 troops by joining forces already there. It is part of Blitz that is correlated with a sharp fall in the meeting on the southern border.
Hegsetth said men and women were shipped to the border excited to be there.
“They are motivated to be here because they are defending their friends, family, community, church, schools, their loved ones from invasion of people whose intentions we do not know,” he said. “We will get control over this border.”

Hegseth’s visit to the southern border is the latest journey aimed at migration by the Officer of Trump’s cabinet.
His journey comes after DHS Secretary Christ Noem was on the southern border in Del Rio, Texas on Saturday. She said she was there to see “firsthand what was happening and how best we can support our border patrol agents.”

Meanwhile, State Secretary Marco Rubiowho had a migration first week in the office, he left on Saturday to his first abroad to Latin America.
His visit includes excursions in Panama, El Salvador, Kostarik, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. He is expected to return on Thursday, and questions are expected to include migration, drug trade and gang violence at the top of his agenda.

Hegsetth spoke along with the border emperor Tom Homan, who said that what was happening with the use of military and other government agencies to facilitate the safety and deportation of “Games exchanger”.
“We will finally succeed and have operational control over our southern border with this president,” he said.
