Green is expected to come fourth in German legislative elections

On the eve of the Snap Federal Election in Germany this Sunday, the Green Party held a rally in Hamburg. The two -week average survey shows that 13% of voters intend to vote for the historically environmental party. In recent years, the Greens have taken over more centrist lines on economic policies and interventionist lines in foreign affairs. The dominance of immigration and inflation in public debate and the Zastojes for the leadership of the Green Party contributed to the reduced popularity of the party as it reached a record support that led to the last federal elections in 2021.
