There are some other Republicans of the Committee who have already said they will vote for Gabbard’s progress to the Senate floor, including Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas and James Lankford, R-Okla.

Because of this, he was able to attract a criticism by the billionaire Elon Musk, who recently claimed to be Young “a puppet of a deep state” in terms of his uncertainty about Gabbard. Musk also shared over the weekend into x, explaining: “I just ran a great conversation [Young]. I stand corrected. The Young Senator will be a great ally in the return of power to people from a huge, unprecedented bureaucracy. ”
Although Collins’ support is well run by Gabbard’s fate at the Committee level, it also predicted a better appearance among the whole Senate, given her voice against Hegseth. If he is progressing in voting on the floor, Gabbard can afford to lose only three Republican votes, assuming that he does not receive any democratic support.
