Earlier this week, the post on X appeared that Dungy was considering running for Michigan’s US Senate Next year he sits as a Republican.
But the rumor was unfounded, NBC analyst said.
“I’m not sure where that idea comes from, but she didn’t come from me,” Dungy said.
“I love my home country Michigan. I pray that he will choose a senator who pays tribute to the Lord and runs the people well. But I can convince you that it will not be me.”
Dungy then gave quite decent reasons why he wouldn’t run.
“Number 1, I’m not a politician and number 2 I live in Florida.”

Democrat Senator Gary Peters will not look for a third term next year. He was first chosen 201 years and won a re -selection six years later, but in a much firmer race. In convincing fashion, he earned 49.9% of the vote against 48.2% by John James in 2020 after defeating Terri Lynn Land in a convincing manner, 54.6% to 41.3%.
Georgia is the second country to have a place for election for the 2016 election, in a country that President Donald Trump won back in November.
