FA Cup to the trial of semi -automated offides at the Premier League Stadium in the Fifth Circle
For the first time in English domestic football, semi-automated Offside technology will be introduced during the fifth circle of FA Cup.
On Thursday, the Football Federation announced that this technology will be deployed in seven matches held at the Premier League places.
The Premier League clubs initially approved the use of technology for the 2024-25 season in April, with plans to perform in October 2024.
However, its implementation was delayed to allow additional trials, which only increased pressure on officials this season.
Fa said: “After a successful live operation in Emirates Fa Cup, the Premier League will seek to implement the system later this season.
“Polo-Automated Technology of OFSAJD will provide more effectively to install a virtual offside line based on the monitoring of an optical player, and produce virtual graphics to ensure improved experience in the stage and broadcast for supporters.

In addition, the judges of the Video Assistant (VAR) will be installed for all eight FA Cups of the fifth round, including the game at Championship in Preston, where the referees will provide announcements at the stage.
The fifth round matches should be held on Saturday, March 1st.
Giants Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham were all knocked out, while the owners of Manchester United, rival Manchester City, Newcastle and Aston Villa remained in the competition.
