McGuire said the indictment states that all eight defendants conspired to transport women from South America to the United States and forced these women to engage in prostitution.
Officials also claim that the trade was part of the scheme for promoting an illegal prostitution company in the middle district of Tennessee.

“We will not stand and allow the TDA or any criminal organization to get a foothold in Tennessee. They will not be here. They will not be allowed to commit crime here. We will hunt these bad actors,” the director of TBI David B. Rausch vowed.
“We will dismantle them and work with every tool we have under the law so that we can consider these violent criminals absolutely responsible for my colleagues Tennessans,” Rausch added. “Be sure, this is a cooperative work that includes our bosses and sheriffs of our tennessee throughout the country. We work together to protect and improve the safety of our communities and volunteer states.”
Officials have announced that three defendants have also been charged with conspiracy of committing sex trade using “force, fraud and coercion to force their participation in illegal commercial sexual acts.”

McGuire said that all this was done to the defendant’s profit. The indictment also accused of accused of illegal possession of weapons by an illegal stranger.
“Since this morning, all the accused have been charged with federal custody,” McGuire said.
Officials said the defendants lured women from South America with false promises about a better life in the US, describing how they were harassed, intimidated and threatened to have sex with foreigners for illegal profit.
The indictment also states that two accused accused used their belonging to TDA to intimidate the victims to continue commit commercial sexual acts, By claiming “they had abrupt debts, debts that no person could ever pay and that the only way to avoid these debts was sex with foreigners for money.”
Officials said that “they are dedicated to cooperation with their partners in a successful research and processing of these terrible gangs in Tennessee.”

Prior to the press conference, the FBI agents from the Houston and Nashville Branch, together with HSI officials, arrested three suspects believed to be tied to the violent Band of TDA in Houston on Tuesday morning.
“FBI Houston and HSI HSI agents were assisted by FBI Nashville with the arrest of three suspects dear Aragua Associates in Houston,” wrote FBI Houston in the post on X.
“The arrested part of the multi-state TDA of TDA’s sex ring that threatened and abused the victims.”
American immigration and customs implementation (ICE) also announced the arrest of a member of the TDA gang, suspected of being associated with a mass shooting in Chicago.
According to ICE spokesman, Ricardo Padillia-Granadillo, 24, illegally present in Venezuelan citizen, was arrested on February 8 in Raleigh.
Granadillo illegally entered the United States near El Pas in Texas on October 1, 2022, and she came across the United States Border Patrol, conditionally headed to the country and noticed that she had appeared, the officials said.
