Duke and Duchess Prince Harry and Meghan Open Invictus Games in Canada

The Duke of Sussex urged the competitors to overcome “a moment of difficulty and division in many parts of the world”, while opening the latest edition of Invictus Games in Canada.
Prince Harry appeared at the opening ceremony in Vancouver with his wife, Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, Saturday.
The couple watched from the stands, cheering and applauding for the UK team while their competitors walked the stage.
Their public performance comes just hours after US President Donald Trump spoke in an interview with his marriage brothers, “I’ll leave him alone,” when asked if he thought Prince Harry should be deported.

The Prince founded the Invictus game in London in 2014.
This year marks the seventh edition of the wounded military veterans competition, which will include more than 500 athletes competing in 11 different events, including winter sports for the first time.
The ceremony included music performances by Katy Perry, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Nelly Furtado.
