Owners Gigginstown House Stud welcomed Delta Work as “absolute superstar” after a three -time winner of the Cheltenham Festival died on Thursday morning after Kolika.

“He was great for Gordon, and Gordon was great for him. He was so versatile, so honest and so sound.
“He had how much he had this morning and we tried to act to save him for the terrain, but even that unfortunately didn’t work.
“He seems to have been forever and God blessed him, he was an absolute superstar.”
In a short statement posted on X, Elliott said: “Unfortunately, Delta’s work passed away this morning at the age of 12 after Kolika.
“He was a privilege to train and won five grades and at three festivals in Cheltenham. He was a hero and he would all miss him very much in Cullentri.”
