Delhi Capitals Ditch Delhi, should start your campaign in another home
Delhi Capitals will begin their IPL 2025 campaign on Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Aca-Vdca Crket Stadium in Vizag. It is believed that Vizag will host two Delhi capital matches just like last year.
Visakhapatnam, also known as Vizag, also hosted two Delhi Capitals games at IPL 2024, and will continue to do so this year. This means that Visakhapatnam will again be the second home of Delhi Capitals this year.
Delhi Capitals have placed two visaags games
According to Cricbuzz, BCCI retained Vizag as the place of IPL for this season. The exact dates and opponents have yet to be announced, but Delhi Capitals will start on this ground on this field with their IPL 2025 campaign.
Capitals played two IPL games in Vizag last year, against Chennai Super Kings and Kolkat Knight Riders. While winning the first match against CSK, they lost to the event champions KKR -As with a big margin.
Vizag is known to be highly scoring as it was apparently last year. Kolkat Knight Riders scored a mammoth a total of 272-7 after hitting first and continued to win the match for more than 100 rides. It will probably be high spines this time.
Three irregular places in IPL 2025
Vizag is one of the three irregular places for the IPL 2025 season, along with Dhararamsal and Guwahati. Dharamsala was chosen to host some home game Punjab Kings, and Guwahati will host some of the Rajasthan Royals home junctions.

According to reports, Punjab Kings will play three matches in Dharamsala, maybe against Mumbaj Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Royals Challengers Bengalur. The picturesque place has produced excellent IPL games over the years and is known for its high point.

Delhi Capitals is one of two franchises that have remained in the IPL that they have not announced their captain so far. The capital cities have lived in a shortlist of several names, and Allrounder Axar Patel is a leader, but they also have KL Rahul and Faf du Plexis as other opportunities.
