David Allen prepares for the rematch of Johnny Fisher in May.
In December, Fisher took a controversial victory from separating over Allen on Oleksandra usyk vs Tyson Fury 2.

Allen is now expecting to get a immediate rematch with Fisher in the summer.
“I thought I won the fight, but I already had six defeats in the fight. So my stock rose, the rematch looks likely. I’m in a good place,” Allen said Sky Sports.
“I just want to box. When I’m a good form, I can fight well.
“I expect it next and I expect it to be absolutely upset.”
Allen is convinced that he will be able to draw the decision from the hands of the referees in the rematch and to throw out Fisher.
“It won’t improve from the first fight. People say it’s inexperienced, it will improve. What can improve? It’s not a natural boxer,” Doncaster said. “I’ll train a little harder, lose some pounds. I’ll easily beat him.
“I had one appropriate fight – with Frazer Clarke, it wasn’t even an appropriate fight – that’s the only fight I was six. I’m really sorry.”
Allen is unwavering that even though they went to a distance, he still deserved a decision in their first fight.

“I didn’t think he was great. I’m still not sure what’s left or how good he is. I’m not really sure. Because when I was there after about 30 seconds, I thought, Oh, I can win this.
“I knew immediately [I’d win]. It was a difficult fight, but it was really a good night, if that made sense. I was not conditioned enough to take advantage of the advantage when I put it off.
“But it was realistically good night. I wasn’t injured. It was what it was. It was really a pleasant night. I just didn’t have the equipment to go through to really seal the job when I folded it.
“I was pretty emotional because I finally thought, finally I did it … but I didn’t get it.

Still, he believes he saved his career with that performance against Fisher.
