CNN Political Commentator Ashley Allison She caused a rather excitement after suggesting that her race and gender had a negative effect on her salary during her career.
“I don’t have the same opportunity as you do. I know I don’t have,” said Allison CNN to the political commentator Scott Jennings during Wednesday on the installment “Night of News with Abby Phillip.”

“But this city, look, I’m a New Yorker,” said lawyer Arthur Aidal. “Not in this city you can’t say that. You can’t say that in this city.”
After Jennings invited Aidal to let her finish speak, Allison explained not to talk about it New York City.
“I earned a degree in legal right, a master’s degree and two bachelor’s. Probably more education than you all summed up at this table and I was always the least paid person on a payroll in every institution where I worked,” she said.

“Even in the White House?” Aidala asked.
“Even in white house,” Allison said.
“Well, whose guilt is it?” Aidal shot back. “I don’t think you worked for George W. or Trump.”
“Well, guess what happened when I was there? Dei,” Allison said as she shook her head and leaned against her seat.
Her comment made Aidal start laughing and clapping sarcastically.

Allison has previously worked as a senior employee in Obama’s administration and the Biden-Harris campaign. During Biden’s presidential leadership in 2020, She worked as his director of national coalitions to activate voters across the country.
She also acted as a Deputy Director and Senior Advisor for Politics at the Public Engagement Office Obama from 2014 to 2017.
