Cheltenham 2025: Mulllines suffer Kawabomga Blow
Willie Mullins, who enjoyed the beautiful Cheltenham 2024 festival, suffered a shot on the eve of this year’s meeting with the leading Kawabomga cavato due to injury.
The five -year -old was among the favorites for Turners’s Novak obstacles on the second day of the festival, but he will remain in Ireland and miss the rest of the season.
It is an early failure for Mullins, who was the most successful coach 12 months ago with nine wins compared to the Gloucestershire course.
Kawabomga is owned by JP McManus, whose runner manager Frank Berry said: “Unfortunately, Kawabomga had a failure and will miss the rest of the season.
“He is a big, big horse and is disappointing, but we hope we will bring him back well for the fall.”
Mullins and McManus have other horses in the race, and yet they could become victorious.
The final demand trained mullins is the favorite of Ante-Posizi, and McManus had its colors on a highly imaginary new lion.
