This will be the first struggle of Canel’s lucrative contract with four fights for the season of Turks al-Sheikh. He also sets the next Canela match against 154 Terrence Crawford on September 13th.
Undisputed championship
Cuba born in Cuba, 29, is a fighter who decided not to fight recently, which cost him IBF belt. Scull then won the IBF title, beating Vladimir Shishkin Last October in Germany. Now Alvarez will ask for the IBF belt to come back to enter Crawford’s four titles, not just one.
Scull’s victory over Shiskhin was questionable, because in that fight he was pronounced and seemed to have lost. Even if you were one of the fans who thought Scull deserved a victory, there was no fact that he looked like a fighter below the average that would lose to Canel’s recent opponents, Edgar Berlang and Jaime Munguia.
These are superficial things that only Boxing fans of Ultra hardcore will pay attention to. The average fans will not worry about how many titles Canelo possesses to fight for Crawford. Those who like Canelof fights a 38-year-old native of Nebraska will be happy to see them fighting, even without belts.
It would be better for average fans around the world if Canelo used the first fight of his contract with four fights with Turks to face someone they heard, respected and push him to fight. Fans want David Benavidez as their next opponent, not a little famous Scull, which only heard only those who follow boxes. Scull is a complete unknown to everyone else in the world.
Saul Alvarez Canelo legend will fight William Scull’s incomplete fight in Riyadh on May 3 …
