Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro accused the General Prosecutor of the country of attempted by a coup after being defeated in the 2022 presidential election.
The 69-year-old was awarded five charges for the alleged offer to prevent President Luiz Inacio Lula for Silva to take his position after a bitter election race.
The prosecutor’s advice will now consider the Supreme Court. If they are accepted, Bolsonaro and 33 others will be formally accused and will have to face trial.
Bolsonaro denies injustice and says he is a victim of political persecution.
He is forbidden to run as well as eight years after being accused of submitting Brazilian democracy falsely claiming that the electronic ballots were used in an October 2022 poll.
Outragedly guided by the election, he won the extremely narrow margin by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva – better known as Lula.
Bolsonaro never publicly acknowledged his defeat and left Brazil for now for two days before Lula swore as president.

Brazilian media reports that the Supreme Court is expected to continue the trial later this year.
The reaction to the prosecutor’s decision shows that the divisions that have marked Brazilian politics in the last decade have remained as deep as always.
The Government fans of the glory and say that the former president belongs to the prison, while the opposition insists that he is innocent.
The focus is now at the influence of the Supreme Court’s decision to the presidential election next year. The recent public opinion survey shows a record level of rejection for the president of the pipe.
Despite being forbidden to run for duty, Bolsonaro is still a strong political force in Brazil and could use the trial as a platform for its agenda.
