Apple Plans to open a new artificial intelligence factor in Texas as part of a $ 500 billion investment in the United States, the company announced on Monday.

The US technological giant said he would work with partners to open a production facility for the production of a 250,000 square meter server in Houston to produce Apple Intelligence servers, his AI personal assistant for iPhone, iPad and Mac computers.

The new factory, which should be opened in 2026, will make part of the large investment plan to which Apple undertakes in the next four years. In addition to the new Texas facility, Apple said he also plans to hire about 20,000 new US employees in the United States

Most new employment will be focused on research and development (R&D), silicone engineering, software development and AI and machine learning, Apple said.

“We are a bull in the future of US innovation and we are proud to build on our long -standing American investments with this obligation of $ 500 billion in the future of our country,” said Apple CEO of Tim Cook in a statement on Monday.

The move comes after Apple’s executive director met with President Donald Trump last week.

The iPhone manufacturer faces the pressure of Trump’s administration on where he has decided to produce his products. Apple composes most of his products in China.

Earlier this month, Trump has signed an order that imposes a long threatening 10% tariff on Chinese goods above Existing tariffs up to 25% charged during its first Presidency.

Apple said his $ 500 billion investment plan will include working with suppliers throughout the USA production of content for their Apple TV+ Streaming Media Service in 20 countries, as well as new rental and research and development (R&D) consumption.

Apple said “it remains one of American taxpayers, after paying more than $ 75 billion in US taxes in the last five years, including only $ 19 billion in only 2024.”

The technological giant also said that he would double his advanced manufacturing fund in the US advanced production fund at $ 10 billion with $ 5 billion, to create a new Michigan Academy and increase in research and development in the US to support top areas like silicon engineering.
