Former Historical Champion in the heavyweight category Wladimir Klitschko (64-5, 53 KO) reportedly considers the return after eight years of retirement. He wants to try to capture the world title at the age of 49, but he seems to be far away.
Wladimir Klitschko did not fight from the eleventh round of knockout Anthony Joshua Joshua 29. April 2017. Klitschko was 41 at the time and was inactive for two years, losing Tyson Fury in 2015, in 2015.
Wladimir looked hellishly bad in these struggles and in his second round the knockout of Corrie Sanders. Losing to insignificant anger and Joshua showed that Wladimir no longer had this spark. He basically created a career of these two British giants, aj & fury, because they probably would never have become the stars if he had done what he needed and threw them out.
Foreman’s record
AND Ring reports that Klitschko wants Break Record George Foreman to be the oldest champion. November 5, 1994, Foreman, who was 45 at the time, knocked out Moorera in the tenth round to capture the headlines of the IBF and WBA heavyweight category.
However, Foreman was in an ideal situation: facing a diluted ex -champion of 175 pounds, Moorer, who was poorly insidious because of the heavyweight competition.
It would be unfair to many competitors who were waiting in line for the world title if Klitschko skipped them and immediately caused the world title in his return.
Usyk/Pulev path
The only chance for Klitschko to win the title in your return is to face WBA, WBC and WBO champion Oleksandra Usyk or WBA ‘Rel’ Rel ‘Reli State Kubrat Pulev. 11 years ago, Wladimir knocked out Puleva on November 15, 2014 – he was 38 at the time.
He will not succeed against IBF champion Daniel Dubois because he hit too much, and Wladimir never acted well against these types of fighters.
Aggression required
If Klitschko returns, he must let his hands fight with more aggression than he has shown in his conflicts against Joshua and Fury. In both losses, Wlad struggled as if he were afraid to throw out fear that he would knock him out.
Joshua is ready to knock him out after dropping him in the sixth round at Wembley Stadium. Instead, Klitschko ignored his corner and tried to box Joshua, which allowed him to recover and return to stop him in 11th place.
Losing to Fury, Wlad did not fight aggressively, letting the younger fighter break through to victory. This was unfortunate to watch because Wladimir had the advantage of the power and speed of his hand, but he would not pull the trigger.
