WNBA star that hurt around Caitlin Clark invites the league to ‘take action’ against Trump’s administration
Connecticut Sun Player Dijonai Carrington encouraged a fierce return carrying Trump shirt Last weekend, now he takes that message even more.
During the press conference before the “unrivaled” league match on Thursday, Carrington stated that it was time for the WNBA players to “take action” in response to President Donald Trump Politics.
“We see that some policies are already embarking on action, and of course, it means that, as a WNBA and being at the forefront of many of these movements, it’s time to take action,” Carrington said.
“This definitely needs to happen as women, and women’s rights are taken away, as now, the LGBTQ rights that are now taken away. They have not yet happened, but definitely in deeds.”

Carrington wore a T-shirt on Friday, saying “Tour F — Donald Trump” as he entered the Wayfair Arena in Miami, Florida.
The player is best known for his interactions with women’s basketball phenomenon Caitlin Clark During Clark’s rookie WNBA season 2024.
Carrington gave Clark the black eye after encouraging her during the game between Clark’s fever Indiana and Carrington’s sun in Connecticut in the first round of playoffs in September. Carrington laughed With a fever of the fever Marina Mabray after the incident.

Carrington said she was not deliberately pushed by Clark’s eyes and should not be due to the incident. However, in October, she made a light of controversy around Clark’s black eye in an Instagram video in October.
In the video are Carrington and her girlfriend Nalyssa Smith, who plays on the fever Indiana with Clark, were in their kitchen when Smith knocked Carrington’s eyes.
“Ow, you knocked me in the eye,” Carrington said. Smith apologized, and the two laughed.
“Did you do that intentionally?” Carrington asked.

Carrington provoked Clark’s fans before an incident that caused her eyes with multiple statements that prevailed Clark and her fans base.
During the match in June, Carrington failed Clark after Clark received the entrance passage from teammate Kristy Wallace. Clark grabbed the passage and headed for the basket. Carrington was late to Clark because of the screen of Aliyah Boston, and she ran into Clark.
Later that month, Carrington Posted on Xsaying that Clark should do more to talk about people who use her name for “racism” and other forms of prejudice. She also called the fans the fever “worst” in the league.
