The Lunar New Year begins on January 29, and the communities throughout the United States and around the world are held by celebrations.

In the Chinese zodiac, every new year, according to the lunar calendar, is associated with one of 12 animals, and in 2025 it marks the year of snake. Different regions in Asia may not follow the same zodiac observed in China, and many Asian Americans and the Pacific Ocean are not observed by the Chinese zodiac, said the art museum.

What is the Lunar New Year?
The Lunar New Year begins on the first young month of the calendar of the lunar calendar and continues through the first full month, which falls 15 days later.

The processions, carnivals and gatherings with fireworks, dances and other cultural appearances are often stapled by the celebrations of the lunar New Year, as individual residences, trades and markets decorate lamps or dragons made of red papers in honor of rest.
In Beijing on Wednesday, the crowds filled the Park for the “Temple Fair”, with some bells and throwing coins in containers in the form of golden bars for happiness, Associated Press reported.
