When was the game remastered? New date, start time, TV channel
The last Merseyside derby at Everton’s Goodison Park, which hosted the first game 130 years ago, has been postponed to December 7.
A lot has happened for both clubs since then, including the Toffees replacing manager Sean Dyche with David Moyes, now in his second spell at the club.
The 245th meeting between the sides has now been given a new date in Moyes’ first derby since his return.
Here are details of the revamped Premier League schedule, including date, time and TV channel and live stream details.

When is Everton vs Liverpool? Date, start time
The game will be played on Wednesday 12 February, kick-off at 19:30 GMT in the first leg for both clubs after the weekend of the fourth round of the FA Cup.
That might suit Everton better, as Moyes’ side are at home to Bournemouth in their second FA Cup game of the season, while Liverpool will make a round trip of around 600 miles to face Championship club Plymouth Argyle.

Everton vs Liverpool TV channel, live streaming
As was the case with the original date, the match will be shown live on TNT Sports in the UK.
Fans can follow the action on a variety of devices via the Discovery+ app.
Why was the match between Everton and Liverpool interrupted?
With Storm Darragh battering the UK, an amber weather warning issued until 6am GMT on December 8 and winds of up to 70mph, authorities decided the safety risk was too great for the expected attendance of nearly 40,000 fans.
“I think a lot of Evertonians are hoping this derby will be the last night under the lights at Goodison Park,” said Giulia Bould of BBC Radio Merseyside Football focus at that time. That wish has now been fulfilled.

Everton vs Liverpool new date
The good news for Liverpool is that Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is likely to be available, after being suspended on the original date.
Arne Slot’s team had a six-point lead at the top of the table when the new date was announced on January 13, as well as a game in hand over the teams behind them due to the postponement.
Everton were a point clear of the relegation zone when the game was confirmed and Moyes held his first press conference since returning to the club that afternoon.
