Las Vegas police have identified Matthew Alan Livelsberger as the man they believe was in the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside the Trump International Hotel on Wednesday.
Livelsberger, an active-duty U.S. Special Forces soldier, is said to have rented a vehicle and driven it from Las Vegas, Colorado.
The case and motive for the explosion are still under investigation, but parallels have been drawn between the subject of the Cybertruck explosion and the suspect involved in the New Orleans New Year’s Eve attack.
